Terms of service
Last updated: August 2026
These terms cover your use of Paperkit — the website, the Paperkit app, and anything you buy or download through either. By creating an account, buying a printable, or subscribing to the app, you're agreeing to what's below. If something here doesn't make sense, email us before you buy — we'd rather explain it than have you guess.
1. Overview
Paperkit is operated by Paperkit, Inc. (“Paperkit,” “we,” “us”). We sell digital printables — workbooks, planners, worksheets, and kits — individually on the web, and as an all-access subscription through the Paperkit app. Nothing sold here is a physical product; everything is delivered as a digital file.
2. Accounts
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials to yourself and for anything that happens under your account. Use a real, working email address — it's how we deliver purchase confirmations, license information, and, if you opt in, product updates.
3. Purchases, downloads & licenses
Web purchases are one-time payments for a specific title or kit. Once payment clears, the file is added to your library for good — re-download it as many times as you like, in any size we offer, with no expiration on the link.
Every purchase includes a license that sets out what you can and can't do with the file. Full details live on our licenses page; the short version is that a license lets you print and use the content, not resell or redistribute the file itself.
4. The app & subscriptions
The Paperkit app offers an all-access subscription that unlocks the entire catalog, including new releases, for a recurring monthly fee — see the app page for current pricing. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, and cancelling stops future renewal without ending the period you've already paid for.
When you subscribe through the Apple App Store or Google Play, your subscription is also subject to that store's terms, and billing, renewal, and cancellation are managed there — not directly by us.
5. Refunds
Web purchases can be refunded within 14 days of download, for any reason. Full details are on our refund policy page. App subscription refunds are handled by the App Store or Google Play under their own policies.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use Paperkit to do anything illegal, to infringe someone else's rights, or to try to access another person's account or purchases. Don't attempt to circumvent license restrictions, scrape the catalog for redistribution, or resell access to your account or its downloads.
7. Intellectual property
Every layout, worksheet, and planner on Paperkit is our own work or work we've licensed for the catalog. Buying a title gives you a license to use it under the terms above — it doesn't transfer copyright or design ownership to you.
8. Our imprints
Haven Paper Co., Fieldnote Press, and Brightline Studio are imprints of Paperkit, each operated by Paperkit, Inc.. These terms apply equally across all three — see our imprints for what each one focuses on.
9. Content disclaimers
Some titles — particularly workbooks touching on anxiety, grief, or other mental health topics — are educational, research-informed resources. They are not therapy, medical advice, or a substitute for care from a licensed professional. If a product includes a specific reviewer credential, it's noted on that product's page; where none is noted, none should be assumed. If you're in crisis, please contact a licensed professional or a crisis line in your area (in the US, the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) rather than relying on any download from this site.
10. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
Files are provided “as is.” We work to keep specs, page counts, and descriptions accurate, and we fix mistakes when they slip through — but we don't guarantee a title will fit every printer, device, or use case. To the extent allowed by law, our liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that item.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the catalog, the app, or the business changes. Meaningful changes will be reflected here with an updated date; continuing to use Paperkit after a change means you accept the new terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Paperkit, Inc. is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
